Built as a birthday passion project by developer nikinik2026, this mod takes inspiration from the well-known “Singularity” breakcore mod and layers a tragic horror concept on top. The premise: these characters are trapped in a digital graveyard for forgotten code, and every sound you build is really a desperate attempt to be remembered before they’re erased for good. Trigger the game’s dark phase and the whole world drains into a monochrome void, with characters crying black tears, holding “MISSING” signs, and flashing the words “I AM FORGOTTEN” across the screen.

How to Play Sprunkilarity (Niki’s take)

The setup follows the usual formula: drag icons — beats, effects, melodies, and voices — onto a lineup of shadowy figures to activate their sound. Up to seven characters can play at once, and everything automatically syncs to the game’s tempo, making it easy to build dense, complex breakcore tracks without much effort. A hidden toggle shifts the game into its corrupted horror phase, warping the music into aggressive, high-tempo noise and degrading the visuals into the game’s signature “Forgotten” look. After exploring both phases, a built-in gallery unlocks, featuring fan art and a personal note from the creator.
